“Still weak from the flu and with a lawsuit hanging over him, Carlos Martinez pitched well on Sunday until a seventh-inning fade”. Given his illness would MM not prepare to take him out sooner than the 7th? Odd decision. I was away most of the week but didn’t miss too many good performances apparently.
Starting a player down with flu is both extremely inconsiderate and unbelievably dumb.
Can Waino play 1B?
