Cooney looks a little better than Lyons did. Funny to see Carp playing 2B. : )

Too many missed chances tonight. without perfect pitching they simply cannot score enough runs to win.

And two saves on one day for Motte – Mo gave up on him too soon.

Its the low point in the season so far.

Sure, we couldda’ still had Motte, Miller, etc. But at one point we were over-loaded with pitchers. What a problem to have, huh? Motte doesn’t much like to talk about when he was a Cardinal. He often says, “No comment.”
And you’re right. TheCards’ pitching has mostly carried the team to where they are now.
Bet everybody will sleep like a log tonite.
OK, one more chance with Wacha tomorrow. Let’s git ‘er done!

July 7th sure wasn’t our day. However today is the 8th and the sun came up.The next sun up I suppose.Wacha todat and we’ll be fine.

Took out my (special) lucky “wabbit” foot for Wacha! It’s powerful! So…the game should be in da’ bag! ; )
