Good info. Didn’t know Grichuk is being sent back down for rehab. Guess MM will keep switching up the line-up…which is good. Never hurts to change things around. Gives everyone a new perspective on things.

Martinez throwing well again giving 5+ so far.Just put a 4 spot on the board to take the 5-2 lead…..I’m lovin’ it. Sorry MacD’s.Cooney coming up for a look see.Hope he does well we need a LH starter.Just looking over the Major League standings and Houston is in first place.Good for them, its been awhile.Yanks on a bit of a run, while the Mets are everyone’s darling thus far. We’ll see the season has just started to heat up.

Yes sir! The season’s only just beginning to get interesting! Ha…and I take back my previous comment about Bourjos. He hit purdy darned well tonite. I too will be interested to see how Cooney does. A LHP should help. Can’t believe Adams, either. Whoa, baby…he’s in a groove! We need to take advantage of the long home-stand. Looks like so far? We’re doin’ good. I’m a little worried about the Mets, and our 4 game series (starting 5/18) being there. Sure wish it was here….

One other thing? I don’t get the blocking issue at the plate. I mean…if an outfielder throws a ball straight to the pitcher? He’d wanna’ throw right to the plate…correct? So, how does a catcher even attempt catch the ball, if he isn’t right ON the plate??? That’s a super tough situation to rule on, for sure.

Missed the first coupla’ innings & didn’t get to see Cooney pitch. But from what was said? He might be optioned back to where he came from. The infield shifts for LH batters were interesting. Both today & yesterday.
