Well Ellis on DL is disappointing.

Why not Rondon over Butler or Neschek for the bullpen? He had a much better spring. And why not Martinez starting as he had much better record than Kelly? Hope it is based on a real reading of experience and not on cultural filters of some kind by MM.

C’mon, man. After all his baseball years, the last thing MM would be is “culturally” biased. You don’t know what he was looking for.

Even discussing this, even bringing it up, is so gauche, so inappropriate.
Stop it!

“How long, will this be goin’ on?” When does Petey get traded or back to AAA?
What relievers will choke on their roles & be ineffective? When does John Jay get sent away (and who has he po-ed that he doesn’t get to play?)?
All this & more, kids, as we P L A Y B A L L! 2014!!!!
Whoo-Hooo betcha can’t wait either!!

I have to say as a Cubs fan, we’re afraid. Very afraid.
